Results - 2015

Thank you all for coming along to the 2nd "Run Wexham" 5 mile race and fun run.

The weather held fine and for some seemed to be too warm as they were seen dashing for the shade on finishing.

Congratulations to all the winners on what appears to be a demanding course. I must add that as I was placing out the course markers it did strike me as a really interesting multi-terrain route.

Rob Foster, Datchet Dashers and Steven Norris, Thames Valley Harrirs could only split themselves on the finish line with Rob coming out best of the 2.

The first lady to finish was Sandra Reynolds of Chiltern AC posting a time of 34 minutes 36 seconds.

A very speedy William Alexander was first back to base in the Fun Run accompanied by, but dropping off the pace at the end, by Helen Alexander. 

The first girl to get back from the Fun Run down to Bell's Farm was Echo Barrett.

Rowley Wood was a short respite from the sun which was at approximately half way.

The marshals out on the course were from Langley Sea Cadets and we thank them for their time.

We hope you took advantage of the free massage from Ann Preece  - [email protected].  We appreciate her attendance at the race.

Our local hospital Radio Wexham provided the supporting music without being too much "over the top". They do undertake outside bookings so if you are looking to support an event with music then give them a call. www.radiowexham.co.uk.
